How It Works
The Tag & Detect platform operates on two principles: embed and verify. Intelligent Material® is introduced into products during manufacturing, dispersed and bonded throughout the substrate, not applied to its surface.
Detection uses spectroscopy to read the material's optical signature at parts-per-million to parts-per-trillion sensitivity. Readings are non-destructive, instantaneous, and achievable in field and in lab conditions.
Tag
Intelligent Material is seamlessly integrated into any component of your product or its packaging (inks, fibers, polymers, film, metals, etc.). It becomes fully integrated within the material itself, inseparable from the product, turning the entire item into a secure, authenticated asset.
Detect
NovaVera's detection devices instantly read the optical signatures of Intelligent Materials. Using proprietary algorithms, they decode and differentiate these materials, enabling the detection of complex, multiplexed signatures.

Intelligent Material integrated into security threads and paper fibers during production, used in banknote substrates, identity documents, and authentication textiles.
Plastic
